Visit the College of Engineering
Admissions Information Sessions
The best way to find out if the College of Engineering at NC State is right for you is to visit our College and participate in one of the information sessions that we offer to prospective students and their families each week. Information sessions are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday beginning at 1:30 pm.
Staff members in the Office of Academic Affairs conduct the sessions, which last 30 to 45 minutes and include the following topics that are specific to the College of Engineering.
- Freshman year
- Joining an academic department (CODA)
We usually have at least one current engineering student at our sessions to offer a student's perspective on the information we present.
Centennial Campus Tours
The College offers Friday information sessions in Room 135 of the Golden Leaf Biomanufacturing Training and Education Center (BTEC) on Centennial Campus. Each Friday session will be followed by a brief tour of Centennial Campus.
The College information sessions on Monday and Wednesday do not include tours.
University Admissions Information Sessions and Campus Tours
We recommend, if it is possible, that our prospective students and their families also attend the University's Admissions Information Sessions and Campus Tours offered through the Admissions Office. Their campus tours highlight general points of interest for the University as a whole.
